This place is a very nice mall. I grew up near here and had not been to this mall on over twenty years. As all of the malls are closing around this area I really expected to see a run down, old, mall with a few stores open and even more closing down and moving out. But it was exactly the opposite. There were no empty storefronts at all. This place looks great and is thriving!! They have a great food court too. Many of the expected stores and several upscale and new places. I was very impressed to find this especially in an age where the malls are disappearing.
I love summit mall, been shopping here for years. I do wish though that they would have more food options. Store selection is nice especially Brookstone!
While the food was good, the service was not. The girl with the bandana left us waiting a long time multiple times. There was another server that ended up helping us. I'm not sure I would go back to this location due to the service.
Was at Chapel Hill earlier this year. More than half their stores are closed and it felt very dangerous inside.
The only surviving mall in Akron. All stores and food venues are open. Security is present. It's well lit and clean. Modern choices and helpful staff.
I love this mall. It's very clean and well-maintained. The stores are generally higher quality than some other local malls; comparable to Belden Village but with a few different shops. Parking can be crowded but there are a lot of things to do and places to eat at and around this location.
