I didn't even think twice when my car dealer paired me with Gen Fed. Woulda coulda shoulda, I should have went with any other bank. It has been three months now and not one month have I not had to talk to them. This bank is so far behind on technology so you are limited to doing everything over the phone. They prefer you go old school and get a ticket book and send a check in each month. Since this is 2015 and I work in IT, I refuse. They arranged it so I could transfer money to their savings account then someone on their side is supposed to kick the money over to my loan. They've done it successfully the first time but not the next two times. This leaves me to deal with their late notices in the mail, because God forbid they use a computer and send an email. If you're not internet savvy, love to talk on the phone, love dozens of papers mailed to you, this place is for you. If you prefer to live in 2015 do anything within your power to avoid this place at all costs.
